In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as Portrait Studio (a brand of Songül Aydınlatma), we process your personal data as a data controller within the scope described below.
1. Personal Data Processed
If you visit our website, fill out contact/quote forms, request a showroom appointment, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us by phone/email/WhatsApp; your identity information (name, surname), contact information (phone, email, address), customer transaction information (request, quote and order records), transaction security information (IP address, cookie records, browser information) and marketing preferences may be processed.
2. Processing Purposes
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of fulfilling your requests regarding our products and services, carrying out offer and project processes, scheduling showroom appointments, managing contract and order processes, conducting customer relations, fulfilling legal obligations, ensuring website security, and, provided you have given explicit consent, marketing and informational activities.
3. Legal Grounds
Your data is processed based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law); namely, being necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of a legal obligation, legitimate interest, and, where required, explicit consent.
4. Transfer
Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the processing purposes, to authorized public institutions and organizations within the scope of legal obligations, as well as to the cargo/logistics, IT infrastructure (website hosting, e-mail), accounting and legal consultants from whom we receive services. Our website operates on the Shopify infrastructure, and data may be stored on the servers of this infrastructure.
5. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for the period required by the processing purposes and the statute-of-limitations periods stipulated in the relevant legislation; at the end of this period, it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, to request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request its deletion or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, to object to the emergence of a result against you through analysis by automated systems, and to request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
